Our challenges in working out how to be an ambitious health business leader who is committed to providing quality care, in the midst of an ever changing social and economic landscape  have taught us some very important lessons about how we need to revisit our relationship with our work.

Your hosts Jo Muirhead and Valerie Ling, will be on hand to guide you through the process of relaxation, self-care and renewal.

Here’s what you can expect

 

Day 1:

You'll arrive and be welcomed by our team, and have the opportunity to get to know the other retreat participants.  We have some fun and non - intimidating ways to build connection  amongst this intimate gathering.

We will share a  meal together where we can continue to get to know one another and learn to breathe.

 

Day 2

After breakfast we will delve deeper into the theme of mindfulness and self-care, with workshops and individual coaching sessions led by Jo Muirhead and Valerie Ling.

You'll learn new techniques for managing stress and burnout, and have time to reflect on your own experience and needs. In the afternoon, you'll have free time to explore the surroundings, rest and relax.

And just before you think you know everything you need to know - you probably do. 

BUT we also know that you are not good at putting it into practice.

And we also know how to hack your smarts so we can help you develop a healthier relationship to your work.

LUNCH is provided where our conversations can continue.

In the afternoon there will be time and space in one of our two breakout areas for you to participate in coaching, or work on a task or project, or enjoy an extra activities we have available . Or you might just want to spend some time on your own, doing something JUST for you.

In the evening we will enjoy a meal together where we can laugh, and enjoy knowing we are not alone.

 

Day 3

After another delicious  breakfast, we will  focus on goal-setting and planning. You'll have the opportunity to set new goals for yourself, and create a plan for achieving them. 

We will be into Q2 of the year so this is a great time to revisit what’s working and what needs to change.

The day will end with a group debrief and farewell, where you'll have the chance to reflect on the retreat and share your thoughts and insights with the other participants.
